Nutrition during Pregnancy

Do I need to eat differently now I am pregnant?

During pregnancy you need extra energy and nutrients.  You will need to eat regular meals with a variety of foods.

How much do I need to eat?

Despite the common saying you do not need to eat for two.  In fact you only need about 300 additional calories per day.

Does what I eat affect my baby?

Your nutrition during pregnancy can help your baby’s health.  Following a healthy balanced diet as well as looking out for the foods to avoid while pregnant will help to keep you and your baby healthy throughout this journey.
