Leaving Your Child for the First Time

Leaving your child for the first time can be very emotional.   It is natural that you will miss each other at first.  It is also natural for young children to be upset when their parent leaves them.  This is especially true if your child is being left with someone new.  It will take time for them to get to know this new person.  It will take time for you and your child to get used to being apart.
